HOME LEARNING CLASSROOM
Hello to everyone in Class 2!
Last week’s challenge:
A cloud was my mother, the wind is my father, my son is the cool stream, and my daughter is the fruit of the land. A rainbow is my bed, the earth my final resting place, and I’m the torment of people. Who Am I?
The answer is Rain! Did you get this answer?
It’s time for us to say goodbye. I really missed seeing you during Class 2 transitions but Mr Large told me that you were fantastic and that he’s really looking forward to getting to know you better next year. I know that Mrs Tidy also had a chance to say goodbye for the summer and that you will see her in September when she will be your new class TA.
Mrs Butler wants to say goodbye to you in the form of a poem – we hope you enjoy reading it.
Goodbye Class 2
The end has come so very quickly- it’s time to move along,
The final days of this school year have been and now are gone.
Mrs Jones and Mrs Butler can’t believe you’ve all grown up so very fast, We’ve learnt so much, had so much fun – the time’s just whizzed right past.
Remember all the things you’ve learnt as through the years you grow, Try to learn all you can – there is so much more to know!!
The one thing we’ve tried to teach you – to last your whole life through, Is to know that you are special – just because you are you!
Now enjoy your summer holidays and get some well – earned rest, To start the new year full of beans; prepared to try your best.
Mr Large and Mrs Tidy, your next teachers are the lucky ones – I’m certain this is true, Because they get to teach and spend the time next year with you.
Have a safe Summer holiday everyone and we’re looking forward to seeing you all again in September.
Mrs Jones, Mrs Butler and Mrs Tidy
